Don't Drop The Cake Achievement Cleanup

Achievement cleanup should begin after one full clear, not before. The first clear tells you which stages are shortest, where balance mistakes are most likely and which decisions may branch into ending or optional content.

Cleanup Order

Start with obvious menu or difficulty achievements, then replay short stage objectives, then chase ending-related conditions. Save no-drop, speed or perfect-control challenges for last because they depend on knowing the safest route through each checkpoint.

Failure Modes

If an achievement does not trigger, check whether the game requires a full stage restart rather than checkpoint reload. Also check whether the difficulty was changed mid-run, whether the route used an optional shortcut and whether the final screen appeared before you exited.
